BUT GOD. BEANIE
Two words on your forehead. The best two words in the whole Bible.
Ephesians 2 starts cold. Dead in sin. No pulse. No hope. Nothing in you reaching for Him.
But God.
"But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ." (Ephesians 2:4-5)
You did not warm yourself up. You did not climb out on your own. He came and got you. That is the whole gospel, and it fits on a beanie.
Pull it on when the temperature drops. Wear it to the barn, the ball game, the grocery store. Somebody is going to ask, "But God what?" Now you get to tell them about grace.
