DEAD MEN DON'T DECIDE. BUT GOD.
DEAD MEN DON'T DECIDE. BUT GOD.
The Bible does not say you were sick. It does not say you were struggling, drifting, or one good decision away from getting it together. It says you were dead.
Dead men don't decide. Dead men don't reach, don't climb, don't meet God halfway. Dead men just lie there.
But God.
Two words. The best two words in the whole Bible. "But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ." (Ephesians 2:4-5)
You did not find Him. He came and got you. You did not wake yourself up. He raised you. That is not bad news about you. That is great news about Him.
Wear it. Somebody is going to ask what it means. Now you get to tell them about grace.
